It reminds me of Trump's first presidential term. Often it seemed that he would watch Fox News or Tucker Carlson at night and then repeat the talking points or perspective from the TV show the next day.

It's also an interesting footnote that the CNN interviewer in these clips appears to be the same CNN "journalist" who faked the rescue of a prisoner from a Syria jail last year.

Finally, I love Weiss's ability to impose her warped perspective on the Palestinians, who clearly DON'T want to go: "No, no. They WANT to go..."

So much integrity on display here.

You're right – it's Clarissa Ward, of “Syrian prisoner rescue” fame.

Here's a primer from The Grayzone, for those who are unaware:

I love the logic of, on one hand, saying, "Gaza's hell on earth. The Palestinians want to go" and on the other hand, "Gaza will be so nice - the Riviera of the Middle East."

Maybe after you turn it into the world's number one vacation spot with casinos and golf courses -- maybe THEN the Palestinians will want to live there, eh Mr. President? What will you say to them then?

When Trump was in Los Angeles last month, he bitterly criticized local politicians for forcibly preventing the fire victims from visiting their own burned out homes. LA's mayor said it wasn't safe and that people shouldn't be allowed to return. But Trump said the people wanted to see their homes, clean up and start to rebuild. He said let them back in.

But for Gaza's victims, Trump says it isn't safe for people to return. He says they don't even want to go back. We must move them far away.
